If you have recently appeared for School Leaving Certificate (SLC) aka Secondary Education Examination (SEE) recently, then like me, you are probably wondering what choice to go for your higher studies? The obvious choices seemed to be to opt for Science or Management stream. However within them came various optional subjects to choose from. All these choices made me anxious nd furious as I tried to evaluate best course for my future. I felt having to make such a choice at an early age of 16 was too imposing on me. Nonetheless, I had a choice to make and the clock was to ticking. The rest of the post provides an insight as I struggled to resolved this conflict and come to a conclusion.
The first course of action was to ask my senior for suggestions and inquire with my friends for their opinion. Nethier of these turned out fruitful as there were diverse opinions and with me inquiry was a new reply. Not only did it made me more confused eel o confused and anxious. Most of the replies were just their usual opinion of various courses but, none seemed to address my concern i.e. what I really wanted to do or become?
